From JM:
Tear-outs for the day's plans from an old planner (reduce and reuse!). I was jumping between a Sharpie ballpoint-style pen and a Micron at the time (for differing line weights)! This is a layout from when I was completing my Master's degree. During this particular period, I was being very mindful of certain habits that I thought would help me do well (reading! walking!) and some that would hinder me (not cooking enough at home! sleeping too much on days I had off from my part-time work!).
This was a lighter series of days, but I think sometimes it's nice to have a breather in a layout too! Especially when you're using it for planning purposes, it can be a relief to see "oh wow, I don't have much going on this week! phew! I'm glad I gave myself a rest!"
I also wanted space to remind myself of fun things - like time with friends or my boyfriend at the time. I also frequently left reminders to myself. I like layers! They help you feel like the notebook is alive, and make it easier to get back to where you left off.
At the time, I was in the habit of writing notes (some I sent, some I didn't) to folks who were really helping me get through the degree-getting-process. I remember who I wrote this to, and unfortunately just didn't have their address at the time. A nice reminder to future me about them though! Having little treats in between the pages is nice too - a good reason to keep notebooks around, as little guardians of your memories. <3

From Stephanie:
I use a mood tracker to help me identify my emotionsβ I'm not very good about it otherwise. The one line section also helps me reflect on what happened on a given day in a quick way. I chose Pokemon as a theme because it's something that brings me joy! What's not to love about cute monsters running around?

From Abbey:
This is a travel journal spread about my summer in New York, 2023. I used some stickers from Everyday Explorers Co. and mixed it up with packaging from the meals I had while I was in the city.
